I love martha and totally support her. Men are intimidated by her toughness and resolve. Screw them! As a strong independent woman myself, I would be sympathetic to her on a jury, but Im not sure so many men would.
Hi Martha! Don't worry about going back to CBS. After tonite, you will be on Good Morning America pronto! Can't wait to see you there and your show back on regular morning time slots! Martha, I am enjoying them all over again...because they are timeless.........just like you Martha!! Barbara Walters asked why so many people hate you........no no no.....So many More people Love you....... Those others??? Why...they are just Jealous! As a Canadian Woman working in a Newspaper Office in small town, B.C. Canada, your story has been, "In the Front Line". This town is based on people that are country oriented & a small town attitude, but many watch your show & have thought that there was something amis. As always I was utterly impressed at the way Martha held herself during her interview with Barbara Walters. She is a model citizen and a damn good lady. Her integrity will see her through this entire ordeal. Mary

The questions that were asked were penetrating and representative of what I was curious about. I thought that Martha answered every question without hesitation, with honesty and from the heart. My heart goes out to Martha Stewart. Clearly she is far too intelligent to have purposefully done something illegal to make a relatively tiny amount of money. I think that she is being attacked because she is such a intelligent, ambitious and successful woman. The powers that be in this male dominated society find that threatening and even offensive. I am an African American female and I am going through a similar ordeal as Martha right now. My heart goes out to anyone who is used as an "example". On a much smaller scale than Martha, my ordeal is worth a great deal of money but I too have been very successful, and typically what people want to see happen to someone who is successful and not apologizing for it is see him/her FAIL. Martha, keep your head up and I'm doing the same. My d-day is coming soon as well and all I can say is that sister, the stuff we're made of is something we were born with- hence the reason why we've been so successful. Bad publicity, "player haters", and self-ordained decision makers of our worthiness can't ever take that away. SMW

She is so graceful, I think she is a real person who has been wrongly targeted. I hope others see this real side of her. I have thought all along that she did nothing wrong. I still feel this way.

After watching the interview, I support Martha even more. I hope this interview shows she is a fellow human being that has worked her way to the top and deserves to stay there. I believe Martha is a very strong women and she will get through this. I enjoyed watching her story and hope everything goes well. She has touched so many, even people that are against her.
