Happy Mother's Day Dahling,
Martha, I won't be exactly like you, but I want to thank you now for being such an incredible woman that I can now be the incredible woman I know I am but have been afraid to show for fear of outshining someone else. I think I've gotten through the worst of my travails and you will certainly make it through yours.
I love you, Baby,
Kathie Willis
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I received your book, Martha Stewart Entertaining, approximately 6 years ago as a gift, and I have read it again and again. I have learned alot about hosting events, and have become a great entertainer because of it. No matter what happens with this trial and court sentencing, you should always hold your head up high (as you always do). You have achieved so much and I will never think of you as anything but the successful, talented person that you are.
If for some atrocious reason you are sent to prison, please read the works of Ayn Rand while you are there....I'm sure her writings will be quite meaninful and significant to you. I'm also sure, that no matter what happens, you will come out of this OK. You are a strong woman.
Sincerely,
Lauren Olinek
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I can't even imagine what you are going through and feeling. I truly feel so sad and angry about what has happened. Every women I talk to who enjoyed 'learning' from you feels the same way. You were the one teacher I could understand. You have a way of explaining that helped me grasp the 'how to' of things. When I had a day off from work, I would always watch you and no matter what the subject - I felt like you were talking directly to me, in my language. You have inspired so many people to try something new or to do a little something extra to make our lives special.
I hope that somehow someone will say 'enough is enough', there is nothing to be gained by putting you in prison, and let you get back to living again.
I know you are strong, but also know there are a lot of us behind you.

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
You are fabulous and wonderful and I want to thank you for all you have done for me - personally - in my life and all the people and great ideas you have given us over the years. I know I will never stop trying to clear your name and get you back to your rightful place. You have a beautiful daughter and mother - and a beautiful self - you make me proud to be an American woman - but so ashamed of our government for trying to bring you down. I believe you will be vindicated and cherished forever. Goddess bless you and yours!!
Mary
Happy Mother's Day, Martha:
I want you to be happy today and have a good time with Alexis and friends of your choice. My heart is with you; my hopes are with you; I know you are facing an undeserved sentence for a crime you did not commit. I pray your lawyers will find a way to persuade the judge that you are not deserving of a prison sentence. I am sorry to bring these subjects up in a greeting card, but I know they are in your mind constantly. Bless you, Martha, and we will we hope for the best for you.

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Hi Martha, I hope you get wonderful flowers and treated like the beautiful woman that you ARE. All children should be as lucky as yours to have such a great mom. Your child Alex, is testamony to your supreme parenting, and love and understanding seems to be a lesson that she has mastered. It is quite evident that this comes from generations of parenting skills. We will continue and we will win. Mothers Day should be remembered and honered every day in our hearts and minds. We pray our children grow up to be good people and that they value all that they have learned, to go forward with their lives and be sound, honest, citizens. Your daughter is one of the strongest women I have ever seen, she is a great model for the young women of this generation.

Gardening has always been so relaxing to me and theraputic I'm sure you find that true also seeing the new life of spring is a wonderful event. And I'm sure you will arise again to the top of the heap and show the world how wonderful you really are. I have always admired your teachings and your education in the common things in life. Happy Mother's Day, Martha~~~
You are my role model...for many years you have strived to bring class, culture and beauty back into a society that has sadly lost all of these.
I always learned something from your magazine, whether about decorating with matelasse, cooking (everything!), Halloween decorations and costumes, species of owls, the latest on your lovely Himalayans and adorable Chows....and your "Remembrances"~~~ I could have cried when you told the story of your eldest Chow and his slow demise.
I'm a 46 year-old R.N., married, with a delightful 4 year-old son....and I truly miss your presence in my life.
You have done so much good...apparently fairness and decency are lost in present-day Bush-America...I have to believe good will triumph over evil, and you will be back as America's Mom...where you belong and are sorely needed.
Happy Mother's Day, Martha!
Love, Cynthia
PS: You've brought up a beautiful daughter....of course!
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I cannot thank you enough for making the world a better, nicer place. I have no longer have any respect or confidence in our legal system. I pray for you every day that all of your problems will go away. Because of this rediculous action we are all being punished needlessly. I really miss you and your television show--there was no need of taking it off the air these past months. Do not give up hope. Pray to the blessed Mother and St Martha for help.
God bless you,
Mona
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Thank you for all the years of wonderful ideas and inspiration. When I was growing up, John Lennon was my hero, and I thought life was really great - and to top it all off I was fortunate enough to live in the same world as John Lennon - he would always be there to stand up and say "hey, there's something wrong here, let's take a stand...", or "hey this is a great thing...", or any of the other thought provoking inspirations that were John's way of embellishing and improving our lives and the world in which we live. Well, we all know how that turned out. I still miss his presence in our world.
Then, I was turned onto your world of inspiration for quality of life by the care & enjoyment possible from the way we take on our everyday activities. I have never been a fan of the "average crafting" types. You, however, invoke a quality and lavishness into what I ONCE thought of as average everyday activities...I no longer consider these activities to be average and boring.
THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU AND SHARING YOURSELF WITH US. I look forward to continuing this relationship with you. I presently have to settle for watching all your previous shows that I have taped over the years in place watching the new ones also, but I am in great anticipation for the return of your series and for your exoneration of this absurd circus they are attempting to make of you.
Sincerely,
Georgette Hassler
Happy Mother's Day Martha,

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I would like to preface this note with a most grateful thankyou.
The wisdom, skill, beauty and profound contribution to the women
and families of this country...the perfection, inspiration and encouraging
"you can do it"T.V. excursions.Tears came to my eyes this morning as I
watched a rerun of Africa ,as always lovely and enlightening;it breaks my heart to think ,you are going through these trials and tribulations;some
one who has given so much to so many,as opposed to those, who have taken so
much from so many.
May courage and the light from all you have given reflect on your path.
Very truly yours

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I hope you are enjoying your mother's day. I do miss your show. I do hope you can have a new trial and get a not guilty verdict. You do have a lot of friends that support you, even if you don't personally know them all. I do wish you all that best! If I could do it, I would give you a hug, I think you need lots of them, they are very healthy for you. So this is my e-mail hug. Take care.

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Hope you have a happy day with your lovely daughter. I will always wish you the best. You and I were born the same week and I've always liked you personally and have no reason to change my opinion. Why is it that when you sold your stock it became a scandal but for anyone else it's called "common sense"? You were prosecuted unfairly only because you're both a woman and a success. It makes me think less of "them" and more of you as you hold your head high. God bless you always. This is only my second E-mail so please excuse any grammatical errors.
Please tell your mother than your fans are thinking about her, too, and wishing this nightmare would end.
I wish the best for you always.

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I hope you are doing ok maam. I faxed a letter to your office because I had no address to you or the judge presiding over the case for you. They sent me a letter back telling me about this address so I will figure out how to operate this website and write the judge for you again. I just hope your staff forwarded my most sincerest letter to him or her. I also said that if he or she wouldn't be lenient that you may write me personally at any time. I'm sorry that you got in this mess because you don't deserve this maam. Just know, that I understand your circumstance and I am not affilated with no one so you can speak freely on any matter you wish. Also know too, that if you were my mother I'd be fighting tooth and nail for you. What happened to loyalty and trust. People need to go back and work on a farm to understand hardwork and appreciate what they have. I'll park my pen here and wish you a pleasant Happy Mother's Day.
Take care and God Bless, Your friend,
Don Suiters
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I just want to say I personally think your great! What they are doing to you is an outrage! Who cares if you sold some stock, people do it everyday! It was your stock to do with as you wished anyway. I beleive they need to leave you alone, and spend their efforts and money trying to stop the real criminals. Keep your head up! We love you regardless!
Bob
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Martha,
We watch your show every day and will continue to watch it every day. Your ideas are presented in a pleasant organized fashion, so we enjoy watching and learning. Our hope for you is that you treat the current happenings as a relatively minor glitch in an overall outstanding life and continue with your work as soon as possible. We need you. The world needs you. We are grateful for your inspiration.
Sincerely,
Susan and Jon Romero

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Because you're a woman, you got a bad deal. Any man would have been slapped on the hand and dismissed. That's the way our world is oriented today. I am personally very sorry for you and hope you will endure and return to us just as before. Any woman who does not support you is not worth worrying about, as many more of us DO support you. You are a wonder and a marvelous lady who really knows her stuff about all things a woman should know. You're a great lady in the kitchen, around the home, with gardens and flowers and I want you to know that I subscribe to all of your books and will continue to do so. I have learned so much from watching you and reading your publications.
All blessings upon you and hope we will see you back on TV as soon as possible. Don't give up hope, just continue to be strong and know that thousands of women are awaiting your return! This could have happened to anyone, so don't feel too bad about what happened. Just do whatever you have to do, then come back to us!!
Take care and know we are out here for you! We all love and support your Kmart line as well. It's wonderful!

Happy Mother's Day Martha, I wish you, your mother and your family the best on this Mother's Day, I miss your show so much. I always looked forward to the holiday ideas and inspiration that I got from you and your fabulous staff! There is not another show on TV that can compare to yours. I hope and pray that all your troubles will be over soon and that you will be back to your wonderful self.

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Don't give up hope! We are all behind you supporting you in these difficult times. I do have to tell you that I have never watched your show or bought your products so you know I am not an avid fan. BUT what they are doing to you is wrong and keep up the good fight. How they can find you guilty while the BIG CEO's stole billions from their employees and stock holders just goes to show that America's courts are the biggest hipocrits of all society. PLease feel free to let me know what I can do to help your cause.
Take care and good luck;
Kate Simon
Happy Mother's Day Martha,

Happy Mother's Day Martha,You have been inspiring me for many years now. Happy Mother's Day, Martha,
Dear, Martha, I've been trying to find a way to email you, so this may be as good a way as any. To be honest, I never paid much attention to you until charges were
brought against you and you went to court. I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me that you are getting a bad deal.
I also gained respect for you through your daughter's appearance on the
Larry King Show. It isn't my place to advise you, but I think in your place I would have different or additional counsel. But, I wish you all the best. I believe that both your daughter and your sister said or implied that this experience will make you stronger. Perhaps you can have your charges dismissed and run for president some day.
With love, Greer Barton
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I asked a pharmacist about anti cancer drugs available to help my husband in his battle against cancer in 2001. The pharmacist told me Imclone had the most promising drug but it would not be approved because the trials had not been conducted properly. This was known in the community. If I knew this months before it was formally announced, then how is it insider information? Or does it mean that if you have stock and decide to make changes you cannot let anyone else know. What happens to freedom of speech? Martha has been unfairly accused and tried and I do not accept the lie accusation as something that needs a jail sentence. Martha has led an exemplary life and has done more for families, home and communities than anyone. I think this is a deliberate attack on a well known woman. It would not have happened if she was a man.
Florence Kelly
Happy Mother's Day Martha,
I am wishing the best for you. You inspire me and I am literally praying , justice will prevail.

Happy Mother's Day Martha,
Sending you love, hope, and best wishes. If the Women's March in Washington this weekend was any indication....we are stronger than ever and we're not going anywhere. You stay strong. I think what happened to you is an absolute travesty. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
Keep that chin up!!! It's a good thing!
Fondly,
