Every time I watch your show I remember my mother's healthier days when I would call her and talk about what you were doing. I love your show. Happy Mother's Day Martha, I am so sorry that you have been held to a higher standard that the average American citizen.....my heart goes out to you and I sincerely hope you will prevail in your appeal. I have enjoyed your Martha Steward Living Magazine since the premier issue, also your Food magazine, your website and TV shows, you have contributed so very much to the art of gracious living and it seems the old saying "The Masses are Asses" could well be true if this disgusting persecution of you continues----the average person is jealous because you have worked very hard to be a success and resents that you have earned a fortune. Do they realize you pay hefty taxes to contribute to the operation of the government and the programs that support those that are not working....those that choose other paths? Shows they would prefer you sit at home with a dozen babies and rock on the front porch, let the goverment feed, medicate, educate and discipline your babies while paying you to have them and do nothing to contribute ..... or use your tax monies to house druggies and criminals who prey on the public, whereas you have worked very hard to contribute to many, many lives, not only through you profession but also through your generous tax contributions. Although you're close to my age, I feel that you have been a mentor via television and the magazine for several years. Sometimes God sends us into the "desert" so that when we emerge will be even stronger than before. Look out all you envious naysayers! I feel that you will be enonerated and your selective prosecution for these "Mickey Mouse" charges will one day be in legal textbooks of an example of prosectuion gone awry.
